we really loved the location of this hotel, its a lovely traditonal building with nice character. the staff were super friendly and always willing to help. the garden was so pretty and perfect for a chill after dinner. the breakfast was delicious and fresh. comfy bed that made our stay nice.

My room was comfy with a large superking bed, but the pillows were a bit flat and the bed felt a tad hard. The tea tray was limited, which was surprising. it felt basic, lacking that special touch I remembered from before. The hotel had a cozy vibe, but I wish the room had a bit more character and comfort.

bel and the dragon-cookham is such a charming place! the entry through the cozy pub with fireplaces sets the perfect vibe. dinner and breakfast were top-notch, with a lovely wine list. the garden area looks beautiful, and the little nightcap setup in the hall was a delightful surprise!

We stayed for a short anniversary break, enjoyed a romantic booth during dinner, and the staff even treated us to a little chocolate cake with a candle for the occasion. The cozy setting and the roaring log fire in the bar before dinner really set the tone for a special evening together.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for a special occasion, it felt acceptable.
